About

I’m Juan Andrés Nin a programmer and game designer from Uruguay with more than 10 years of professional experience.
In 2021 I cofounded Tragico Media and in 2023 we released our first game Tourist Trap on Xbox and Steam.

Previously I worked at Ironhide Game Studio.

I have worked on the following games:

  • Junkworld

    Worked as lead programmer on multiple prototypes during preproduction and led a team of three programmers from this stage onto softlaunch.

  • Kingdom Rush Vengeance

    Worked on a team of three programmers making a new engine using C++ and cocos2d-x. This engine runs the iOS, android and PC versions of the game. Worked alongside artists and designers on the original campaign.
    Became lead programmer after the game’s release working on content updates as well as maintenance.

  • Kingdom Rush Origins

    Worked alongside artists and designers on the original campaign as well as content updates.

  • Kingdom Rush Frontiers

    Worked alongside artists and designers on content updates.

  • Kingdom Rush

    Ported the original Objective-C game using cocos2d to PC using Unity and C#. Worked alongside artists and designers on content updates.
